ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY

Design Analysis

The qualities of a product to ensure the success of its certification according to harmonized CE or FCC standards or its qualification according to RTCA-DO or STANAG standards have their origins in the architecture and design phases.

This is why we offer a set of studies and analyzes in order to derisk your product and your electronic cards in order to reduce the risks of occurrence of cases of non-compliance during normative tests.

Normative Analysis

We carry out the analysis of the norms and standards as well as the levels required according to the application, in order to identify the most restrictive requirements in terms of levels of aggression and emission, conducted and radiated, and in terms of bands of frequencies.

The definition of the conditions for validating proper operation, for the immunity tests, carried out in collaboration with our customers, makes it possible to establish the main strategic lines which will make it possible to identify and propose appropriate architectural and design solutions.

The result of this analysis makes it possible to assess the risks and identify the architectural and design solutions to be applied, specific to each product and its applications, in order to reduce the risks of non-compliance.

Architecture Study

Our architectural studies cover the analysis of the functional structure and the solutions of the main functions implemented at the level of the electronic boards as well as the inter-board connections, sensors, actuators and actuators made by connectors or by wired links.

The frequency bands used by the constituents of the product as well as their emission levels, the functional risks in terms of susceptibility and the risks of exceeding the emission level are assessed by analysis.

The results of this study then make it possible to consolidate the choices made and to propose, if necessary, improvement or alternative solutions in order to validate the architectural aspects at the card and product level before initiating the design and implementation phase. .

Conceptual and Implementation Analysis

We offer detailed analysis of the diagrams and the routing of electronic cards in order to identify respect for the rules of the art and the risks in terms of emission and susceptibility, conduct and radiated, and to propose solutions if necessary. improvement to reduce the risk of non-compliance.

Certification and Qualification Support

We offer support services during your certification and qualification campaigns in order to analyze failures following normative tests.

We carry out the theoretical study of the failures observed, the correlation with the frequency bands and harmonics exerted by your product for the defects in emissions and the analysis of the potential root causes as a result of the defects in immunity by analysis of the technical file of your cards electronics and your product.

Our measurement and test laboratory allows us to carry out measurements of conducted emissions as well as in close electric and magnetic fields and to produce a map of radiating sources in order to correlate our theoretical studies.

We offer corrective measures favoring modifications of the parts list or manual wired recovery in order to avoid a new board routing.
